Maintenance and Production
Disholt is your go-to partner for maintaining and producing high-quality, customized tools. Since 1966, we have offered a comprehensive grinding service for the metal, wood, and plastic processing industries. Quality has been central to our mission from the start, which is why we take care of all your tool maintenance needs in our in-house grinding workshop.
We specialize in grinding a variety of tools, including solid carbide (VHM), high-speed steel (HSS), and polycrystalline diamond (PCD) mills. With our advanced CNC grinding machines and decades of expertise, Disholt can handle tools like carbide-tipped saw blades, segment saws, and HSS circular saws with ease. What sets us apart is our unique ability to maintain diamond tools entirely in-house, making us the only company in the Netherlands offering this specialized service.
Diamond (PCD) Tools
We are industry leaders in the supply and maintenance of diamond (PCD) tools for the woodworking and plastics industries. Over the years, we have developed unparalleled expertise in the application of diamond tools, ensuring they perform flawlessly in even the most demanding environments.
Custom Tool Production
In industries as diverse as metalworking, woodworking, and plastics, standard tools don’t always meet the mark. That’s why Disholt offers custom tool production, creating specialized milling cutters and drills made from solid carbide (VHM). Whether it's profile cutters, stepped drills, or drill/mill combinations, we can produce tools to your exact specifications, using premium coatings for optimal performance.
Clients can simply provide us with a DXF drawing of the desired tool profile, along with material specifications. Using this information, we construct a 3D model, which is sent back to you for confirmation or adjustment. With our state-of-the-art CNC grinding machines and a range of turning, milling, and electrical discharge machines, we ensure that your custom tools are produced quickly and to the highest standards.

(Flu-) Profile Knife Production
At Disholt, we specialize in the production and maintenance of custom-made (Flu-) profile knives and back-knife cutters. Thanks to our extensive machine park, we not only have the capability to grind Flu knives, carbide-tipped knives, and back-knife cutters, but we also offer wire erosion services.
By using wire erosion instead of traditional grinding, we can achieve even finer details in the desired profile. This method is particularly effective for creating sharp, enclosed corners that are difficult to produce with traditional grinding due to the small radius of the grinding wheel. When using standard grinding, achieving perfectly sharp corners is nearly impossible, as a small radius is always left behind.
At Disholt, we can create knives for various systems using materials like solid carbide (VHM), carbide-tipped (HM), hybrid materials, high-speed steel (HSS), and diamond. This makes us a versatile partner for your custom profile knife production needs.
Coating Services
Disholt offers specialized coating services for both new and used tools. Coating your tools can increase cutting speeds, reduce machining time, and extend the tool's lifespan. Contact us for more information or a free, no-obligation quote.
